Google, the internet search engine, is set to take the stage at the E Commerce Expo 2007 to teach visitors how to grow their business by improving their presence online. Matt Brittin, Director, UK, Google, will give a presentation, entitled “Keeping Up With The Consumer - eCommerce And Sales Imperatives For The Digitised World” on Tuesday, 30th October at 10am. Google, which responds to millions of search queries every day globally will also be demonstrating its comprehensive array of tools for advertisers and consumers.

Google will be inviting visitors to its stand to learn how its suite of products can help grow their business online.

It will be showcasing the following products:

• Google Checkout
• Google AdWords
• Google Product Search
• Google Maps

Google will also be offering visitors a refresher on AdWords, demonstrating new ad-formats and tools can be used to improve an organisations online marketing ROI. With AdWords organisations can advertise their business on Google regardless of the size of their budget. Their ads appear on the right hand side of the Google search results page and connect an organisation with potential customers when they are searching keywords relevant to its business. Companies can control how much they spend on a daily basis and can use Google Analytics and AdWords conversion tracking to track how effective their AdWords spend is.
Attendees will learn about Google Product Search and Google Maps. Google Product Search allows organisations to upload their product catalogue into Google’s index of products for free. Google then displays products on search results on Google.co.uk/Products and when the results are relevant enough they will be included in the search results on Google.co.uk.
Google Maps drives traffic to an organisation’s site & visitors to its store for free by adding it into the Local Business Centre with a local business listing.
