Boutique creative agency Collective has recruited D & AD award winner Danny Blackman, adding fresh emerging talent to its 20 strong team. The appointment marks a period of strong growth within the agency, which expects to double in size over the next two years.

The D & AD Student award, internationally recognised as the most respected and prestigious creative honour for design and advertising creatives, was given to Blackman in 2006. Highly sought after, the recent Leeds University Graduate chose a role at Collective over a wide number of positions with other boutique and above-the-line agencies.

Collective, which specialises in flash and 3D motion graphics to create award-winning digital campaigns, has seen zero staff turnover in its creative team since forming three years ago. Despite increased industry-wide demand for creative executives, small agencies such as Collective have continued to draw talent through their flat structures, dedicated creative focus and opportunities for fast growth.
