Elvi, the retailer of contemporary clothes for the size 16 and up woman has launched its first ecommerce website, built by specialist web agency Digivate. Newly acquired in October 2006, Elvi has ambitious growth plans to develop by store roll out and multi-channel expansion.

"Elvi has huge potential as a multi-channel brand" says Oliver Spark, CEO, "and a first class transactional website is an essential part of the mix. It was easy to choose Digivate – they provide both proven ecommerce technology and powerful marketing skills."

Will Gotley, Managing Director at Digivate, comments, "the new Elvi site showcases several exciting new interactive features that will make online clothes shopping even easier and more fun. One of these features is 'shop by outfit' where shoppers will be able to buy all the components of an outfit on one page. Another is a simplified checkout which will minimise the clicks needed to purchase."
