The National Lottery® is to offer lucky Valentines the chance to win up to £4,000 with the launch of Cash Couples, a new online Instant Win Game with a romantic theme.
Cash Couples will be launched on 2nd February 2004 at www.national-lottery.co.uk. The game costs £1 per play and players must reveal three couples in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row to win the prize indicated in the large heart-shaped panel in the centre of the game.
Camelot’s Interactive Director, Richard Hurd-Wood says, "We are extremely pleased to be able to offer this exciting new game ahead of Valentine’s Day. It is the latest addition to a range of Instant Win Games which have already proved extremely popular and is part of our strategy to broaden the appeal of The National Lottery through new media channels."
Cash Couples was designed by leading interactive design agency NOWWASHYOURHANDS. Explaining the ethos behind the game's design, NOWWASHYOURHANDS Creative Director Angus Mackinnon commented, "By adopting a strikingly simple and informative approach to our work, we create games of real impact and recognition. Cash Couples illustrates the power and efficacy of direct, uncomplicated design".
Cash Couples is the latest chapter in an on-going collaboration between National Lottery operator, Camelot and NOWWASHYOURHANDS. The agency has designed the recently launched Cash Machine™, which offers the biggest prize so far of all The National Lottery's Instant Win Games.
