The digital marketing agency Steak Media has appointed Peter Suchet as its Marketing Director.

The former Marketing Director of i-level Group, Peter has over 20 years senior management and international experience working for major companies in the advertising industry.

Peter spent ten years at Saatchi & Saatchi beginning in account management, rising to Board Director, responsible for clients such as British Airways, J Sainsbury, Capital Radio and GUS. As a result of his expertise in database marketing and CRM for GUS, he was promoted to joint Managing Director of Saatchi’s direct marketing subsidiary, Saatchi Direct, ultimately rising to non-executive Marketing Director for the Racing Green catalogue.

He left Saatchi & Saatchi in 1990 and was a founding partner of Nadel, Suchet, Daborn, the integrated agency subsequently acquired by the Wakefield Group.

In 1995, Peter began four years at the Daily Telegraph where he established the paper’s first sports marketing division and led the team that created Fantasy Football and Cricket, voted the promotion of the last century.

Prior to his appointment at i-level, he was Business Development Director at PDV LTD, an online direct marketing company specialising in the collection and analysis of online data for blue-chip clients such as HBoS, Classic FM, IPC, Argos Finance and The Football League.

Peter is a member of the Institute of Marketing, and the Institute of Direct Marketing. He is also a lecturer on the direct marketing and CRM modules for the CAM Diploma.
