Kingston upon Thames, November 6th 2007. KODIME Ltd, a leader in developing and providing innovative software solutions for mobile marketing and digital commerce, today announces the launch of its new entry-level product, ZOOMtxt ONE.

Available to purchase online and 100% managed over the web, ZOOMtxt ONE for the first time enables easy to use and cost-effective mobile response marketing for companies and organisations wanting to engage the increasingly mobile consumer.

For an introductory price of only £99 the monthly ZOOMtxt ONE account plan includes one shared shortcode number connected to all UK mobile operators, one keyword (company, campaign or product name), one mobile internet site (WAP) enabling rich content such as images, multiple pages of text and data capture forms. ZOOMtxt ONE includes unlimited technical support, hosting of mobile internet site and data as well as access to free webinars and online tutorials.

Nico Köpke, CEO KODIME Ltd, commented:
“To date, creating mobile response marketing using shortcode numbers required either the service of a specialised and expensive agency, or the ineffective bolting together of shortcodes, gateways and interfaces, with restrictions such as being limited to basic 160 character text messages. With the new ZOOMtxt ONE, businesses of any size can now tap into the proven power of the mobile channel, having cost-effective and direct access to key features of our professional platform such as live reporting dashboards, dynamic handset detection, mobile internet site management, long SMS messages, email delivery and more.”

Using ZOOMtxt ONE, it only takes minutes to set up automated, 24/7 mobile response to incoming SMS enquiries, operate a professional mobile internet site, run outbound SMS messaging campaigns including personalisation and scheduling, and instantly and reliably capture customer data such as mobile numbers, email addresses and other contact details.
Examples of the typical mobile response marketing scenarios enabled by ZOOMtxt ONE are

Why Mobile matters – News on November 5th 2007
Text-mad Brits send 1bn messages per week
Britons are continuing to let their fingers do their talking - new figures show that we are now sending more than one billion text messages per week.

According to statistics compiled by the Mobile Data Association (MDA) the volume of text traffic is 25 per cent higher than a year ago, with the nation now sending more text messages per week than it did in a whole year in 1999. The MDA had predicted that there would be 42 billion texts sent this year, but it now thinks that the total could reach 52 billion.

Mike Short, head of the MDA, puts the continuing growth of SMS messaging down to the fact that it is “convenient, comprehensive, it’s on every handset and network and it is cost effective”.

In August this year a staggering 4.7 billion texts were sent in the UK, and in March 2007 15.5 million WAP impressions were reported, according to the Mobile Data Association (MDA).
