Online ratings and reviews provider Bazaarvoice recognised as one of the world’s top private technology companies based on business performance, strategy and innovation

Social commerce company Bazaarvoice has received a Red Herring Top 100 Global award, recognising it as one of the top technology companies in the world.

The award caps a year of unprecedented growth for Bazaarvoice in which the company launched its UK operation and expanded its client base, providing a ratings and reviews solution for over 150 companies in 12 different industries, including Timberland, Boden, Early Learning Centre, Dell, and figleaves.com.

This prestigious award is the second Bazaarvoice has received from Red Herring, which also named the company in its 2006 Top 100 North American list.

The Red Herring editorial team reviewed 1,800 privately-held companies from around the world to select the Global 100 winners. Red Herring 100 winners and finalists from North America, Europe, and Asia of the last three years were eligible for the award, and evaluations were based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, innovation, management, and global strategy.
