London 12 February 2008 Leading search engine marketing company Weboptimiser is delighted to announce promotions in its senior management team to help support its growing business and client list.

Conrad Swailes, one of the founders of Weboptimiser and a qualified CIMA accountant, becomes CEO. This formalizes his position as an advisor to the business over the last few years. Conrad’s considerable experience has proved invaluable to the growth and success of Weboptimiser. He previously worked for The Financial Times and Online Media and for the Richard Caring Empire in Asia, the Far East and Eastern Europe where he pioneered low cost supply chains, outsourcing and supply chain management.

David Ding becomes Client Services Manager. David has considerable experience in the media sector gained from senior commercial roles with both Marketing Week and ITN. David’s key responsibility in his new role at Weboptimiser will be to work with clients to ensure delivery of high quality, successful search campaigns on both tactical and strategic levels. He will also continue to take an active role in the search marketplace and ensure that Weboptimiser continues to play a lead part in setting and maintaining industry standards.

Matt Brown has been promoted to Head of Search. Matt has worked at Weboptimiser for three years, delivering innovative and successful search for both consumer and business-to-business campaigns to a wide range of clients including Virgin Money, Conde Nast, Nestle and James Villas. In his new role, Matt will be responsible for client consultations and campaign creation, as well as developing the client offering and streamlining existing processes.
