Digital design agency Fortune Cookie will demonstrate the depth of its support for best practice in design and innovation in the travel sector by sponsoring a raft of digital marketing sector awards throughout 2008.

In March, Fortune Cookie sponsored the ‘Leisure & Travel’ category of Haymarket Publishing’s Revolution Awards.

In April, Fortune Cookie will sponsor the three categories in the 2008 Travolution Awards, which celebrate digital excellence in the travel sector (Best Travel Portal, Best Meta Search/Price Comparison Site, Best Consumer Travel Information).

Kuoni-owned luxury tour operator Voyages Jules Verne ( won the award for best online tour operator at the inaugural Travolution Awards in 2007 with its site which was designed by Fortune Cookie.

Fortune Cookie’s re-design of the Voyages Jules Verne site resulted in a 70% uplift in customer conversion rates, a 36% increase in unique visitors, and a 50% increase in online sales.
