Leading full service eCommerce agency e-inbusiness has expanded its senior team with the appointment of James Gurd as Head of Acquisition, Conversion & Growth.

Gurd, who joins e-inbusiness after two years at Betterware where he was Head of eCommerce, has been appointed to oversee all Client Support Services and eMarketing with an immediate focus on creating a best-of-breed Client Engagement Framework.

Prior to joining e-inbusiness Gurd gained commercial experience in both B2B & B2C with a focus on business development and eCommerce. Speaking about the appointment Gurd said: “There is so much demand in the UK market for expert eCommerce services but clients demand more than technology; the human element and interactive relationship are equally as important. I am really looking forward to developing our client relationships and playing my role in driving the business forward.”

Joe Mountain, e-inbusiness co-founder, said that recruiting Gurd was the next stage in the development of e-inbusiness. Mountain said: “James brings with him a wealth of client side experience and understands the implications of building an eCommerce channel and providing an environment for long-term sustainable growth. He has a detailed understanding of the complexities of integrating eCommerce into a bricks and mortar business as well as the human issues that can affect eCommerce being effectively adopted across diverse business groups.”

Building online brands since 1999 for a large number of high profile retail clients including Space NK, New Look, Farrow & Ball and Radley, e-inbusiness understands retail business needs and combines high energy creativity, best of breed technology and full service support to add measurable value to its customers.
