London, UK – TradeDoubler and The Search Works both picked up accolades at the recent Revolution and Media Momentum awards this month claiming ‘Best use of affiliate’ and ‘Best management team’ respectively. The awards cap off a sustained period of success across the two businesses since TradeDoubler acquired The Search Works last July.

The management team leading The Search Works, the UK’s largest search engine marketing company, came out top in the Media Momentum 2008 awards, which assess the fifty fastest-growing digital media companies to identify outstanding performance. As well as being praised for their forward-thinking approach and the successful navigation of the company through a dramatic period of growth – from £5m in 2004 to over £40m in 2006 – the management team also helped steer The Search Works to number ten in the overall rankings.

TradeDoubler, who also ranked in Media Momentum’s top 40, celebrated similar success at the recent Revolution Awards 2008. In a new category rewarding the best of affiliate marketing, TradeDoubler netted the gong for its ‘Pre-Christmas Land Grab’ campaign for HMV.

TradeDoubler was tasked with gaining HMV better market share within the entertainment sector and to achieve or exceed an 800% ROI. Through a combination of revised tiers and commission rates, enhanced communication and coverage within the affiliate community and an integrated on/off-line approach, TradeDoubler helped to generate 119% growth in total internet audience reach, 368% growth in sales value and a ROI ratio of 1:9.

The award adds to a growing tally for HMV and TradeDoubler who came top in the same category at the annual IMA awards late last year.
