Web analytics consultancy net-progress has been awarded the coveted RNIB See it Right accreditation for their corporate website, the company’s second See it Right award overall.

The RNIB See it Right website audit is carried out with all users in mind. This includes people with sight problems, hearing, mobility and cognitive impairments, as well as those using older browsers or newer technologies such as mobiles and PDAs.

Speaking on behalf of net-progress, Paul Crichton said, “With more than 15 million people in the UK alone with access issues because of physical impairment, learning difficulties or dyslexia, and research showing that 57% of adults benefit from accessibility features, it would be madness for our business not to create accessible websites. We’re delighted that net-progress.co.uk has joined a select group of websites to win a See it Right award.”

Ann McMeekin, Web Accessibility Consultant, RNIB said "We are pleased that net-progress has achieved the See it Right standard for a second website, and by doing so, have demonstrated their continued commitment to web accessibility."

The net-progress website joins stable mate net-guide.co.uk in receiving the RNIB award. net-guide is an accessible search engine and directory that lists accessible websites. Last year alone, net-guide was used more than a quarter of a million times to help people find what they wanted on the web in an accessible format. net-progress becomes one of only a few consultancy firms who can claim to have worked on two or more See it Right approved websites.
