Abercrombie & Kent awards search business to Greenlight

- Specialist search agency to deliver SEO and PPC for up-market travel brand -

Specialist search marketing agency Greenlight has been appointed by Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), the leading authority on luxury adventure and experiential travel, to handle the company’s Search Engine Marketing activity. The appointment was made following a competitive pitch, with the account previously held by PHD.

A&K offers a range of luxury and bespoke experiential holidays worldwide, including adventure travel, honeymoon destinations, cruises and safaris. Established 40 years ago, the company aims to provide inspirational travel experience and, prides itself on providing the best insider information through its international network of employees on the ground.

Greenlight has been tasked with managing both Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for the brand. The agency’s paid search division will apply ‘Quant’, its in-house technology, to the account, which uses artificial intelligence and learning algorithms to deliver a highly efficient paid search campaign. The SEO team will implement ARC, the agency’s proprietary methodology that identifies and addresses any ranking problems that could arise on a site.

Greenlight will adopt an integrated approach to this campaign, with the overall goal being to increase A&K’s online visibility, whilst re-enforcing the brand’s luxury credentials. The strategy will aim to produce a more cost effective search marketing campaign with increased revenue streams.
