iCrossing a global digital marketing company, has strengthened its Content and Media team with the appointment of Tamsin Hemingray as Content & Media Strategist.

Tamsin will co-lead a team of journalists and copywriters that form part of the 14-strong Content & Media department at iCrossing. The team’s primary objective is to help clients to understand how the emergence of social media has changed the relationship between brand and audience, and to develop engagement strategies that enhance their online presence through the delivery of stimulating and useful content.

Tamsin will be focused on developing methods to harness the power of social networks and rapidly maturing delivery technologies, such as interactive video and podcasts, for the global client base at iCrossing.

She joins iCrossing after more than four years leading the online editorial team in the Home Office Corporate Communications Unit, where she developed new strategies for internal online engagement. There, Tamsin had overall strategic responsibility for delivery of top level messaging via internal communication channels, including a daily online news and multimedia service and an internal TV channel with daily rolling content produced in-house. Tamsin began her online career at the Electronic Telegraph (now Telegraph.co.uk) in 1997, launching student-focused service Juiced.
