Swebtec, a leading provider of multilingual content management software and related services, has launched expressShift, an online solution to streamline the temporary and shift staffing process.
ExpressShift provides agencies and employers with a sophisticated means of managing the recruitment process from vacancy identification and candidate matching, through to fulfilment.
Aimed at temporary work agencies and employers operating on a shift or locum basis, the expressShift web-services application replaces call centres and legacy paper systems currently used and increases efficiency through its enhanced database and multi-channel communication system.
Employers and agencies can manage candidate information including skills, availability, preferences and any confidential comments. When a new position becomes available, expressShift automatically generates a suitable list of available candidates to match the requirement through its intelligent matching logic. SMS text and email notifications are automatically sent to the selected candidate.
The ‘accept’ or ‘decline’ messages returned by the candidate trigger a database update for a position within seconds. Event tracking services facilitate the shift fulfilment process and reduce the requirement for a call centre service. Candidates can also access and manage a subset of their database to update their details and availability on an ongoing basis.
Jamie Kruger, joint Managing Director of Swebtec says, “We have developed expressShift to address a critical need for efficiency within companies operating on a temporary or shift basis. By replacing legacy paper systems and call centres, the system has a positive impact on bottom line profitability and effectively manages the staffing process. It aims to maximise the use of scarce resources, generating matches for vacancies in seconds and providing multi-channel fulfilment.”
