The Search Works creates new management team as it launches across Europe

1st May 2008, London, UK – The Search Works, the digital performance marketing company and the UK’s largest search specialist, today announces the creation of a new European management team which will coordinate the company’s roll-out across Germany, France, Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands. New general manager for Europe, Ben Gibson will be joined by Cristina Sagarduy, who takes on the role of commercial manager and Sonia Bercel, who becomes European business development manager.

Ben, who was previously regional vice president Asia/Pacific for sister company The Technology Works (now TD Technology, a division of TradeDoubler) returns to the UK to lead the team as The Search Works looks to expand across multiple European countries. As commercial manager for the European management team, Cristina has been tasked with recruiting a multi-lingual support team which will deliver editorial optimisation and account management services for pan-European clients such as Hotelopia and Octopus Travel. Meanwhile, Sonia, who was previously responsible for driving new business for The Search Works in the UK, will work closely with individual country managers and account directors to identify prospects and support the ambitious growth targets set for each European office.
