Europe’s leading independent video games content website Eurogamer has appointed w00t!media, the independent online advertising sales and creative house, to bring non-gaming advertisers to its network of sites.

Eurogamer’s users receive daily coverage of all aspects of video gaming including news, reviews, previews and interviews. The network includes Eurogamer TV, a popular destination for gaming videos, and Eurogamers, the social network for gamers. As part of the deal, w00t!media will also be representing, the UK’s leading games news blog.

“Eurogamer is an incredibly popular site, with a strong network rivalling any other games website in the world,” said w00t!media Director Austen Kay. “We’ll work to bring complementary advertisers on board – brands that aren’t focused around gaming but have a strong affinity with the Eurogamer brand itself. Brighton based Eurogamer was founded eight years ago, and the site now attracts over two million unique users per month. The site’s non-gaming advertising sales were previously handled by EMAP.
