Oliver Slipper, joint-CEO at Perform commented: “The launch of the V Player in August 2007 ensured we operated the largest premium sports video network in the UK. The acquisition of No.9 Media gives us an even stronger position in the display market.”

No.9 Media was founded by Iain Linkleter and Justin Brookfield. Iain, Chief Executive at No.9 Media, joins the Board of Perform Sales as a Non-Executive Director and will continue to be actively involved in the ongoing management of the business.

Iain Linkleter said: “This acquisition is a very exciting development for the market, both for publishers and brands. It combines two enthusiastic and ambitious sales houses, both focused on delivering value to brands and maximising returns for publishers.”

The key employees from No.9 Media will all transfer over to Perform, with Darren Kietz becoming Sales Director reporting to Stefano D’Anna, Managing Director at Perform Sales.
