Fredhopper hires digital marketing veteran as Regional Director for Germany
~ Recruitment drive reflects global expansion programme ~

Fredhopper, a leading provider of e-commerce search and merchandising solutions, today announced the appointment of Martin McDonald as the Regional Director for Germany (DACH).

Since its inception in 2000, Fredhopper has emerged as the preferred search and merchandising solution for online business in Europe. Its products work behind the scenes at many of the largest online sellers, including B&Q, OTTO, Philips Electronics, Toys R Us, Reed Business, ScrewFix, Thomas Cook, Waitrose and Woolworths.

McDonald joins Fredhopper from Omniture, where he focused on the Swiss Market in addition to the Automotive and Financial verticals for DACH. Acquiring many high profile new business customers, McDonald was considered to be a cornerstone of the regional business.
