Developed for theprintspace by digital and e-commerce agency Imano, the site and its unique ‘creative print process’ enables photographers, graphic designers, and visual artists to prepare expertly colour-managed digital prints from their own files for large format printing - all from the desktop.

An online extension of the way theprintspace has innovated the conventional ‘professional photographic prolab’, the nature of the services theprintspace offer at their walk-in facilities in Shoreditch meant that Imano were tasked to create and implement a fully maintainable colour management and ‘soft-proofing’ system into an eCommerce engine - enabling files to be prepared and transmitted remotely for printing by theprintspace’s own digital C-type or Epson inkjet large format machines.

The new website also contains video tutorials of how to get the best from files by involving the user in a unique print process, and explains the results achievable using theprintspace’s different print and paper set ups.

“We’re all about combining ease of use with high quality results and Imano have managed to deliver that concept over the internet not just in terms of technical know-how, but also by capturing the essence of our brand online,” said Dominic Apa of theprintspace.
