Following a competitive pitch, Cancer Research UK have selected Essence to design and build two major web projects centred around the theme of Social Giving.

Both projects are being sponsored by the charity’s Innovations team, and are designed to make Cancer Research UK supporters’ experience more personal and bring donors together online. The sites are scheduled to launch in September this year. Essence were selected following their recent delivery of Cancer Research UK’s Alcohol Awareness iGoogle gadget, which helps users track their drinking over time and get health related information based on their habits.
