Sally Robins is appointed as Communication Director of the Steria Group

London, 4 July 2008 - Her mission will be to continue the international development of the Steria brand and to drive proactive communications across the Group, ensuring that all communications (internal and external) support company strategy. She will report to Groupe Steria CEO François Enaud.

Sally Robins, 45, had been with Xansa since 1997 and during that time had led a number of key initiatives in both Marketing and Communications. In 2001 she led the programme to bring nine separately branded organisations together into the Xansa brand, introducing a new name, visual identity and positioning across the company. She was part of the team involved in setting up the groundbreaking public/private joint venture NHS Shared Business Services, overseeing their complete brand update as well as communications around the transfer of staff, and has led on communications for many strategic projects, including the Xansa foundation BPO client, British Telecom.

In 2007, she was appointed Marketing and Communication Director of the Xansa Group. She strengthened Xansa's external visibility through PR, marketing campaigns and investor relations. During this time Sally Robins also championed Xansa’s CSR in the UK working closely with India.

Before joining Xansa, Ms Robins served as Director of Information at Plymouth Community Services NHS Trust. Ms Robins holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Bradford and in Health Information Science from Warwick University.
