Leading fleet software and risk management expert Jaama is continuing its expansion with the appointment of two new recruits.

In the last 18 months booming demand for the company’s online Key2 Vehicle Management software as well as its risk management expertise has seen the company’s workforce almost double to 35 employees and there are further new jobs in the pipeline.

Initially launched to provide sophisticated fleet management solutions to companies running cars and commercial vehicles in both the public and private sectors, Jaama swiftly broke into the UK contract hire and rental sector and now supplies fleet management software solutions to a total of 14 leasing and rental companies, including a dozen firms operating more than 1,500 vehicles each. In addition, this year Jaama has broken into the accident management market with the supply of fleet management systems.

To further fuel that expansion Jaama has appointed David Munro to its software development team and Dawn Jones as PA/administrator.

David has a background in transport having worked in a quarry company’s logistics department and was most recently employed as a software support analyst at a computer development company before joining their hospitality reporting systems development team.

Dawn has worked in a variety of office administration roles since leaving college and most recently gained an NVQ 3 in business administration whilst working at Whittington Barracks, Lichfield.

Jaama managing director Jason Francis said: “When we launched the business four years ago we planned on bringing a market-leading web-based fleet, contract hire and rental management software solution to the marketplace. However, the functionality delivered by the Key2 product range has become far broader than we anticipated as a result of customers’ requirements becoming increasingly complex.

“As a result of customer demands and an ever-increasing desire by them to take advantage of the wide range of modules offered within the Key2 system to match their own unique requirements, we continually find ourselves needing to recruit new software developers.

“Additionally, with businesses and organisations continuing to look for advice and information on occupational road risk management solutions, it is important that Jaama has sufficient administrative staff to meet all requirements.”
