Digital creative agency Delete have assisted French Connection by developing the look and feel of their website . Delete designed a Shop Window style feature that reflects French Connection’s own commitment to shop window displays, and clearly highlights featured products through brand-led campaign imagery to ensure a more integrated, on-brand approach. The backend of the site was developed by The Commerce Partnership.

“Our overall intention was to inject a more lifestyle and personal focus into the online store. People will be able to connect with our products and how they fit into their wardrobe and lifestyle. “ Said Lorna Perrin, Head of Communications, French Connection.

French Connection has a strong visual identity in their print work and catalogues – Delete has reflected this editorial feel through the online store landing pages whilst being careful not to disrupt the user’s journey.

The Men’s and Women’s landing pages, now balance the content of both ranges, and have been vital in setting the tone of the seasonal collection and appear as the shop window to product ranges available, offering a visual pathway into the key departments.

“Using Delete’s Communication Architecture approach - where we take into account the user and their needs– we delivered a fresher and visually richer experience.” Said Damon Mangos, Co Founder and Creative Director of Delete.

As well as the store experience, Delete created a destination for French Connection’s non consumer users by designing areas for other departments of the business:

Marketing: In the brand and marketing communications section of the site Delete have created a beautiful repository of the History of French Connection’s Advertising with extensive detail of past campaigns over the last ten years.

Company Information – This section of the site reflects French Connection’s position as an international company and links to the company’s brand-profile, investor relations, international store locations, and press contacts.

Wholesale: This section of the website displays French Connection’s licensed wholesale collections clearly, product and contact information for each department includes: Shoes, Grooming & Beauty, Sunglasses, Jewellery and Watches.

“Our wholesale customers are very important to us and we wanted them to be inspired by our collections and have the opportunity to clearly see them.” Added Perrin.
