Düsseldorf, 3 September 2008 – For the upcoming online-marketing-düsseldorf show 2008, from 17 – 18 September, 380 separate exhibitors have registered and the number of international exhibitors has more than doubled compared to last year. In this way the show is setting a strong signal for the future as the leading show for digital marketing in Europe. In three exhibition halls, the show covers the whole spectrum of digital marketing and is thus the attraction for trade visitors from across Europe and internationally.

The growth rates speak for themselves. Following on from 180 exhibitors in 2006 and 260 exhibitors in 2007, four weeks before this year’s show is due to commence over 380 exhibitors are registered. At the same time the online-marketing-düsseldorf 2008 covers more disciplines of Online and Mobile Marketing than ever before: the show is offering 360° Digital Marketing for the first time, thus the complete digital marketing disciplines at one unique setting. “We are offering all relevant themes, products and offers at one single show,” said Alexander Felsenberg, Director Tradeshows New Media at Igedo Company. “The strong number of exhibitors at the trade show will ensure that visitors can find the right suppliers and furthermore get all information on the latest market developments, innovations and trends”.

It’s Taking Part that Counts

Coinciding with the further expansion of the online-marketing-düsseldorf 2008, visitors can expect new, innovative services, allowing them to construe their very own way around the exhibition. Thus, visitors can gain contact with exhibitors even before the exhibition begins. The “Matchmaking” service on the website attends to this. Furthermore, “Guided Tours” are being offered for the very first time. Accomplished agency representatives are organizing specific exhibition tours around dedicated themed areas. Visitors still have the possibility to register for a Guided Tour on the website up until the final tour constellation – that may well be expanded due to such excellent demand.

Bigger, More Extensive, More In-Depth, More Efficient

The online-marketing-düsseldorf 2008 show has a proven concept, has more exhibitors registered than ever and is set-up in three halls over a larger space than ever in the past; it covers all facets of digital marketing and has introduced new innovative services to better connect visitors and exhibitors. Today, already more than 4,000 registered visitors confirm the right of the title of the online-marketing-düsseldorf 2008 as the leading show for digital marketing. In comparison: A total of 10,900 people visited the online-marketing-düsseldorf 2007. Frank Hartmann, Managing Director of Igedo Company, commented the successful initial résumé: “We are on a very strong path. In close co-ordination with the exhibiting companies we have adapted the concept of the online-marketing-düsseldorf to the needs of the advertising companies. In this way we have an excellent starting position for the coming years and the future of our show”.

The close collaboration with the German Digital Industry Association (BVDW) and the Online Marketing Group (OVK) is also bearing fruit. Besides several BVDW member companies nearly all the large German marketers will be in Düsseldorf and have even expanded their booths. “The mood of the online industry remains intact despite the cautious forecasts for the whole advertising market,” confirms Arndt Groth, President of the BVDW. “The online-marketing-düsseldorf reflects this development by its growth”.

• Moving Pictures and Podcast:
Providers, such as Center.tv, dailyme.tv, decayene, Deluxe Television, InLiMedia, Kewego Deutschland, Sevenload and TV1.de cover the whole spectrum of this segment and can be found in the new TV-Area.
• Social Networks:
MySpace, studiVZ Ltd., styleranking media or also the stock exchange community Tradingbird.de are examples of exhibitors in this category that are renowned representatives of this really young genre. MySpace furthermore is sponsoring the Open Air Lounge the outside area of hall 10 – thus providing opportunities for open-air networking.
• In-Game Advertising:
Besides the market leader IGA Worldwide further companies such as JOGO Media, Metaversum and also Zylom Media Group will be exhibiting.
