AOL’s Platform-A today announced that Glasses Direct will utilize two of Platform-A’s advertising solutions in an advertising campaign to increase brand awareness and drive sales of glasses on their website, The online retailer has booked CPA marketing on two Platform-A advertising networks --, one of the world’s largest third-party advertising networks, and, a leading affiliate network that provides a platform for performance-based e-commerce marketing programs to advertisers and publishers. Glasses Direct, the largest global direct retailer of custom-made prescription glasses, enables customers to make online purchases with the help, advice and approval of registered opticians.

Platform-A’s will manage the display advertising campaign for Glasses Direct by building brand awareness through targeted activity on’s extensive network of third-party publisher sites. Consumers who have visited Glasses Direct but have not made a purchase will be retargeted across the network.

Advertising through Platform-A’s will also increase brand recognition and drive sales through a range of affinity sites, voucher affiliates, search affiliates and niche content affiliates managed by Activity will be tracked using’s management area, which shows overall activity and detailed analysis, including regional sales, individual affiliate sales and product sales.
