Experian®, the global information services company, today announced that it is making its Absolute Movers suppression file available to the reseller channel.
Launched in 2004, Absolute Movers is used regularly by over 1,500 organisations to provide in-depth and accurate goneaway suppression coverage for marketing purposes.

Experian’s decision to make Absolute Movers available to the reseller channel is in response to increased demand from bureaux for access to the file. Previously only available direct from Experian’s Integrated Marketing division, many more organisations working with bureaux will now be able to benefit from Absolute Movers to further enhance their data integrity measures.

The first reseller to sign up to accessing the file is Database Group.

Richard Lees, Chairman at Database Group, said: “Over the past few years, we have seen a substantial increase in client demand for Experian’s Absolute Movers suppression file. This has increased even more in today’s economic climate where it is vital that companies optimise the return on investment on direct marketing campaigns. Absolute Movers is a premier source for identifying home movers and we are pleased to embark on this agreement with Experian to provide the most accurate and up to date data to enable our clients to identify those customers who have moved address.”

Colin Grieves, Director of Data Strategy at Experian’s Integrated Marketing division, said: “By opening up Absolute Movers to resellers we are allowing their clients to benefit from Experian’s innovative data suppression file. The fact that Absolute Movers is fully validated means that only genuine home moves are suppressed from receiving direct marketing communications and this is driving demand for access to the file.”
