Lipsy, the fast fashion brand worn by stylish and fun-loving women as well as celebrities from Kate Middleton to Lily Allen, has selected Snow Valley to deliver their next generation e-commerce solution.

The solution will be based on Snow Valley’s MUSE2 platform and will deliver a feature-rich user experience aimed at maximising customer engagement. This will include rich media and user generated content that will communicate the glamorous and aspirational characteristics of the brand. The site will also offer a full range of functionality and marketing support to assist the growth of their international business.

Search and navigation capability on the new site will be provided by Mercado, one of the third party services integrated within the MUSE2 platform. Snow Valley will also be providing full integration between the website and other line of business systems to ensure that the e-commerce operation is fully automated.

A B2B solution will also be developed as part of the project to help the company manage their 400 wholesale accounts.

Snow Valley’s User Experience Team will provide the design for the new site. The creative will translate Lipsy’s brand elements for the web, bringing the world of glamour, fashion and the special occasion alive for the online customer.

The new website is part of Lipsy’s multi-channel growth plan. The company will open its first standalone store in Brent Cross, London later this year. The company already operates 25 concessions and has 300 stockists across the UK and in Europe.
