The UK’s leading branded fashion retailer, Republic, has appointed full service digital agency AWA following a competitive pitch against two other established digital agencies in the region.

The agency has been tasked with increasing sales and email sign-ups for Republic’s online store, in the crucial three month run-up to Christmas. AWA Media will devise and deliver a full online media campaign with AWA developing all associated creative.

Launched in May 2007, Republic’s ecommerce site showcases mens and womenswear branded fashion from a portfolio that includes G-Star, Bench, Henley’s, Crafted, Fenchurch and Miso. The compelling brand offer is complemented by fantastic value promotions that include Any 2 for £30 and Any 2 for £50 on selected merchandise. Republic currently trades from 89 bricks and mortar stores nationwide, with a further 5 scheduled to open this year.
