Tamar appoints new Director of Technology

Tamar, the search conversion agency, has appointed Aaron Williams as Director of Technology to oversee technology and software development for all of Tamar's clients. The new role is designed to drive efficiency throughout the company’s client base, ensuring that Tamar is at the forefront of advancing technologies in search and conversion focused site build.

Aaron will lead the development of tools used internally that drive the technology behind Tamar’s successful search conversion campaigns to further the company’s fantastic track record as a search conversion leader. He will also be developing Tamar’s conversion focused site build work, having already spearheaded Tamar’s projects with Lloyds TSB in his previous role as lead developer on insurance aggregator sites insurance.co.uk and lloydstsbcompare.com earlier this year. In his new role, he will be responsible for technology in all three of Tamar’s offices in London, Shanghai and Cape Town.

Aaron holds 10 years industry experience prior to joining Tamar, obtaining the majority of his expertise in the governmental and financial services sectors. He has gained international experience having worked in the US, Hong Kong and Canada.

Commenting on Aaron’s appointment, Tamar’s CEO Tanya Goodin said, “Aaron’s role has two main focuses, to work internally on driving the technologies and efficiencies that produce the fantastic results we are known for as a search conversion agency.
