Paris- 22 October 2008- Platform-A launches today its new offer in France by combining online advertising operations of and AOL to offer to advertisers and publishers a full suite of industry-leading branding and performance solutions powered by the web’s most advanced advertising technologies. Philippe Besnard has been appointed Managing Director of Platform-A in France.

Philippe Besnard has been named Managing Director of Platform-A in France. Graduated from HEC business school, he started his career in Finance and Consulting, notably at The Boston Consulting Group, and then he occupied different General Management positions in several international groups as Meccano Toys, AOL France, AOL Europe and the Investment fund Laureate international. He has been named Managing Director South Europe of in January 2007.

Frédéric Daruty is appointed Deputy Managing Director of Platform-A in France. Graduated from ESC Le Havre business school, he occupied different positions in sales and trade marketing at Procter & Gamble for eight years, before to enter AOL France in 2001 where he held the position Head of Agency Sales in 2004, Sales Director in 2007 and Managing Director since April 2008.
