***g8wave Delivers Txt-To-Win Mobile Competitions For Orange At Glastonbury Festival***

g8wave (www.g8wave.co.uk), the UK’s premier mobile entertainment, marketing and gateway services provider has been selected by leading mobile phone operator Orange to provide premium text services -to-win competitions at the Glastonbury Festival 2004.

g8wave will provide the txt-to-win application and related connectivity and service maintenance to Orange to allow it to run competitions on behalf of Budweiser, WaterAid and Q Magazine throughout this year’s top music event. Each competition will run for the four days of Glastonbury, with each campaign targeted to generate 10,000 – 15,000 messages each day.

The Budweiser promotion is a simple text to win competition with the top prize being entry to the exclusive Pyramid stage viewing gantry. For WaterAid, there is a text to donate promotion where users can donate ₤1 to WaterAid via their mobile phone. There is also a competition mechanic attached to act as an incentive to donate. Finally, for Q Magazine, there is a simple text to win mechanic to support the magazine’s presence at Glastonbury.
