i-level has promoted two senior directors to lead i-level Search, its specialist search division. Andy Mihalop and Jenny Kirby, both previously Search Directors, are with immediate effect Joint Heads of i-level Search – reporting to Mark Creighton, i-level’s Managing Director.

This follows the decision of previous Head of Search, Amanda Davie, to pursue a consultancy role.

Mark Creighton, Managing Director of i-level says, “These appointments are a key indication of the growth and importance of the search sector for i-level. Amanda has done an amazing job growing the two person department in June 2004 to the 32-strong specialist team we have now. i-level Search services clients with both SEO and paid search; making us the fourth largest Search operation in the UK. I’m confident that Andy and Jenny can develop the legacy and take i-level Search to the next level.”

Andy Mihalop joined i-level from DoubleClick Performics in March this year where he was Director of Strategic Services; overseeing development of search strategy and strategic consulting for clients based in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Prior to this he was Head of Search Marketing for Reed Business Information, responsible for search marketing strategy across a portfolio of digital B2B community and recruitment websites.

Jenny Kirby has been part of i-level since 2005 when she joined the agency as Search Account Manager. In this role she developed the search programmes for a number of i-level clients, before moving into the Search Director role in 2007, devising search strategies across i-level’s portfolio of clients including Orange, Sony and Next. Previously, Jenny worked at Fox Kids (Jetix) where she was Online Brand Manager, responsible for the development of the brand's online proposition.
