Leading digital marketing agency True Digital have re-designed and re-engineered yougo, the dedicated student community site they created for UCAS in 2006.

With more than 200,000 student members, yougo is already growing fast. The new improved site is set to see that growth accelerate with a wider student audience than before. New yougo now widens its membership to year 12 and S5 (or equivalent) students preparing to go into higher education.

Further site enhancements follow feedback from yougo members and the wider student audience. More useful features throughout the site, exclusive university content and regular webchats are built in to make yougo an essential part of life for students all over the UK.

The new site will uniquely contain profile pages specifically for Universities to enable them to connect directly with students already there, and those considering going there.

Segmented content panels on the homepage now allow users to personalise the information they want from yougo. They’ll have an instant view of live discussion, who’s doing what, and access to great advice on timely and relevant topics like exams, jobs and money.

True Digital Director Tim Jones explains: “Our user-centric approach has helped us keep yougo fresh and relevant. While the new design brings yougo closer to the UCAS brand, the new functionality and content take it straight to the heart of what students have told us they want from the site.”

Emerson Osmond, Commercial Projects Manager at UCAS, adds: “True Digital have shared our vision for yougo from the very beginning. Opening the site up to younger students just entering the UCAS process gives yougo added relevance and offers existing members the chance to support the students following in their footsteps.”
