Croydon-based digital marketing agency dotMailer has been awarded Best Growing Business at the Croydon Best of Borough Awards 2008. dotMailer was described by the judges as "a robust and innovative local business that has achieved much and is well-positioned for further profitable growth". In 2007-08, the company’s revenue increased by 97% to £2.47m.

Founded nine years ago by three local entrepreneurs, dotMailer has grown steadily to become one of the UK’s largest digital marketing service providers. The company’s digital and email marketing clients include HQHair, Fairtrade, BBC, Hotmail and Kodak.

The award comes at a time of exciting growth for the company which has more than doubled in size in the last 18 months. Since moving into their current East Croydon based offices last April they have grown from employing less than 20 staff 50 by September this year. dotMailer has also announced a number of important product launches including a new version of their industry-leading email marketing system, new content management system and e-commerce platform, along with a new lead tracking system.
Peter Simmonds, Managing Director at dotMailer said:

“2008 has been a great year for the company. Our growth is the result of some cutting edge innovation; developing products that help small and medium sized businesses to market themselves more effectively. Our growth plans do not end here and we have an ambitious strategy for 2009. This award is wonderful recognition for our staff who have all worked hard to get us to where we are today.”

“Croydon has played a very big part in the history of the company and it means a lot to have been honoured in this way.
