Top Position, the pay per click and search engine optimisation agency has announced plans to rebrand in 2009. The firm, best known for its PPC work since its inauguration eight years ago, will undergo a complete reinvention over the next three months to better reflect its burgeoning product portfolio of online marketing services. The rebrand will include a new name, new logo and new company web site and will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2009.

The change is being spearheaded by managing director Daniel Jupp and operations director, Rebecca Appleton. Mr Jupp said, “I’m incredibly excited by the fact that we are starting a whole new chapter and look forward to continuing to drive forward the company as we develop an even more diverse and powerful brand. I’m confident the new brand will help us move forward as a full service agency across all of our geographical locations and expand into new territories.”

Top Position’s rebrand comes on the back of an action packed two years. Having added a dedicated Yahoo department to its team of AdWords account managers at the beginning of 2007, the firm also restructured its Google department to offer dedicated small business services, its own brand credit accounts and platinum account management consultancy serving its high-profile account wins. The agency has also developed a successful SEO arm, providing organic optimisation via social media and digital marketing activities.

The rebrand will commence in January, although all details are currently being kept under wraps.
