<p>London, 17 December 2008 – Platform-A, AOL’s digital advertising business, now reaches more than 160 million unique users in Europe.* After the recent launches in Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, Platform-A now has a presence in eight European countries including France, Germany and the UK. Platform-A has more than 18 million unique visitors to its network of sites in Scandinavia and the Netherlands.** </p>

<p>In Europe, Platform-A appears in the top three of comScore’s advertising network ranking for October 2008. Platform-A is ranked No. 1 in Finland, France, Norway and the UK; No. 2 in Denmark and Germany; No. 3 in the Netherlands and Sweden.**</p>

<p>Commenting on the achievement, Brendan Condon, Managing Director for Platform-A International, said, “We are now open for business in eight European countries. Platform-A aligns AOL’s existing advertising operations and includes AOL’s owned-and-operated sites and premium portal content, along with thousands of sites in the Advertising.com third-party network and the affiliate marketing network buy.at that rewards partner websites for every sale and/or visitor. </p>

<p>Per Kristian Tandberg leads the newly launched operations in the Northern European countries, with Philippe Besnard heading up Southern Europe (notably France) and Harald R. Fortmann and Michael Steckler in charge of the German and UK businesses, respectively.</p>

<p>Platform-A began its entry into the European market by launching its core offerings in Germany at the Online-Marketing-Düsseldorf conference in September, with France and the UK following in October. </p>
