Webgains today announces the appointment of Alistair Nichols as Head of Agency Sales for the UK office. He will be responsible for developing the agency sales strategy and managing the agency sales team.</p>

<p>Alistair Nichols joins Webgains, (a division of adpepper media International N.V and one of the fastest growing affiliate networks with offices in eight countries), from competitor affiliate network Commission Junction, where he was UK Sales Manager. In his former role he focused on growing the retail sector and was directly responsible for bringing on board high-profile brands such as Woolworths, Ann Summers, Rymans, Monsoon and House of Fraser. Alistair’s remit also included launching CJ Media, the offering for CPA short term campaigns for CJ merchants.</p>

<p>Alistair has extensive media sales management experience holding senior roles on various Haymarket titles including Marketing, Revolution, and AV Magazine. Before his transition into the digital arena Alistair was Publisher at Corpcomms Magazine for Cross Border Publishing. He brings to his new role excellent contacts, management experience and an understanding of both online and offline media.</p>
