Digital direct agency, Cheeze (<a href="http://www.cheeze.com">www.cheeze.com</a&gt;) - a member of Digital Marketing Group plc, has started the New Year confidently with Mike Groves taking up the position of client services director - a role previously held by Matt O’Brien, who was made managing director of the agency last year.
<br />Groves will head up the account teams working across the agency’s clients, which include Budget Car Rental, Holiday Cottage Group, AXA plc, BUPA, PDSA, Transform Medical Group, RSPCA Pet Insurance, Canterbury of New Zealand and recent additions, Exclaimer and ReD. Reporting to managing director Matt O’Brien, his task is to ensure that the agency continues to deliver first-class service to its growing client base.</p>

<br />overseeing SEO, PPC, affiliate marketing and email marketing retail, fashion and financial services clients; Groves brings ten years online marketing experience to the role – both agency and client-side.</p>

<p>Prior to Digivate he was Marketing Director at London Scottish Broking. Here for two years he oversaw online marketing - from websites, search marketing, SEO, affiliate, email and mobile marketing programmes - as well as offline; for brands including Easy Loans and Pacific Home Loans.</p>

<p>Before that he was a director at full service agency, Blue Edged Media for three years with responsibility for developing the agency’s digital services, including web design and development, paid search, SEO, media planning and buying, affiliate and email marketing. </p>

<p>Groves started his digital marketing career in 1999 at Citrus (who later merged with John Brown) where as new media account director he launched the agency’s new media offer and spent three years managing and developing major client accounts such as More Th>n. </p>
