Jobsite, a leading UK online recruitment site owned by the Daily Mail Group, is implementing Neolane to enable automated, personalised job-alert and direct marketing communications to its 4.5 million registered users

TWICKENHAM, UK – January 21st 2009 - Enterprise marketing software provider Neolane has today announced Jobsite UK (Worldwide) Limited, owned by the Daily Mail & General Trust PLC, as a new customer in the United Kingdom. Jobsite began implementing Neolane’s customer communication and marketing automation software in December 2008 and expects to begin switching its customised email job alert and email marketing campaign communications over to the platform in February 2009.

Using the Neolane software, Jobsite will build and maintain a single customer view of each of its 4.5 million registered users from historical and real-time data. Jobsite will then use the platform to automate the creation and delivery of some 20 million email communications a month; each one customised to individual candidate’s profiles and relevant to their life-stage and job interests. Longer term, the company expects to make use of Neolane’s cross-channel marketing capabilities to incorporate personalised direct mail and SMS communications.

“Our current separate job alert and email marketing applications are labour intensive and using valuable resources that could be better spent elsewhere,” said Belinda Lush, head of product marketing at Jobsite. “By replacing these with Neolane we will integrate the two types of communications, boost our data analytics, customer intelligence and reporting - enabling a better service to our registered users and the agencies and employers promoting their vacancies on Jobsite. Ultimately, we expect to be able to link candidates with the right job vacancies even more quickly.”

Each registered user’s profile will be updated automatically as they alter their criteria, respond to job alerts and marketing campaigns and also for insight inferred from their navigation of jobsite.co.uk. This will ensure that subsequent communications are always relevant.

“Neolane enables companies with many thousands of customers and a range of products and services, to optimise their communications with every individual – by tailoring every message to each person’s areas of interest,” said Jeremy Bedford, operations director of Neolane in the UK. “Using Neolane’s customer communications functionality, companies can deliver personalised-content business documents, notifications and alerts across channels with precision and ease to ensure excellent customer service and strong loyalty.”
