<p>3rd Time Media has designed and developed two interactive online tools as part of Norwich and Peterborough Building Society’s ‘Beat the Crunch’ campaign; the inflation and interest rate calculators are designed to help consumers make sound financial decisions in an uncertain financial climate. The calculators appear on <a href="http://www.npbs.co.uk">www.npbs.co.uk</a&gt;, which receives around 95,000 unique visits per month, and are also designed to be used by N&P’s financial advisors in their 56 branches nationwide.</p>

<p>3rd Time Media was hired following a competitive pitch to help the building society add additional interactivity to the website. The calculators allow visitors to estimate how their savings could grow over time and also how inflation would affect a lump sum deposit at a time when inflation and interest rates are constantly changing. Since launching in September 2008, the two calculators have been extremely popular in helping customers plan for their financial future.</p>

<p>“We were noticing an increase in enquiries to our website and call centres following the onset of the credit crunch and we wanted to respond in a thoughtful and helpful way. The ‘Beat the Crunch’ campaign ran throughout September and October and was extremely successful offline and online. The two interactive calculators provided a fantastic focal point on the website and continue to prove very popular with visitors and customers who are both concerned and confused by their financial options in the current climate,” said Ben Meadows, Online Marketing Manager, Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. </p>

<p>The digital agency has also been hired by N&P for a number of other online projects including two further website mortgage calculators and a series of advertising banners. 3rd Time Media has worked with a number of other leading financial services organisations including comparethemarket, Budget Insurance and Experian.</p>
