<p>Email and SMS marketing company Pure has appointed Marc Munier as Managing Director to lead the company’s international growth in 2009. </p>

<p>Munier joined Pure in 2005 as an Account Manager, when the Brighton-based company had seven staff. He then became Major Accounts Sales Manager and Sales and Account Director before accepting his latest role. </p>

<p>He will now oversee a team of 42 staff looking after clients including innocent drinks, Rightmove and EMAP. </p>

<p>“I’ve spent four years aiding the company’s growth and Pure is very proud to be different; an independent business with a passionate team and a positive working environment, which is evident in our results,” said Marc Munier, Managing Director of Pure. “This year will see international expansion – Pure is planning to launch its services in mainland Europe; namely Germany, Spain and France.”</p>

<p>Pure also intends to grow its sales, support, technical and marketing teams to 60 staff overall by next January. The company’s 2,000 clients send emails in 50 different countries. </p>

<p>Prior to joining Pure Munier ran his own sign-making business, working for brands including Virgin Trains and Toshiba.
