<p>Outdoor clothing and equipment website appoints Bazaarvoice to implement its Ratings & Reviews technology.</p>

<p>Webtogs.co.uk, the outdoor clothing and equipment retailer founded and run by e-commerce entrepreneurs James Balmain and Philip Wilkinson who founded Kelkoo uk, will add a ratings and reviews solution to build its customer community and drive sales.</p>

<p>Social commerce technology company Bazaarvoice has been appointed by Webtogs to implement and launch the service within the next four weeks. </p>

<p>“Our vision for the Webtogs brand is to start evolving towards a single online destination where people can not only buy products but also get great quality advice and product recommendations,” said Philip Wilkinson, co-Founder and Marketing Director of Webtogs. “User reviews and Q&A sessions with experts and other shoppers all help customers narrow down choices and give confidence in their final purchase selection. Impartial advice and product reviews from our community of past visitors and tog experts will instil customer confidence, increase customer retention and in turn drive sales.”</p>

<p>Webtogs, which launched in March last year, will alert its existing customer base by email when the reviews capability launches and invite those who’ve made purchases to submit opinions. </p>
