Kwik Fit Insurance has appointed specialist search marketing agency Greenlight to manage the brand’s entire search marketing account, incorporating search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid search, following a competitive five-way pitch.

Kwik Fit Insurance (KFI) is one of the UK’s leading insurance intermediaries. Headquartered near Glasgow, KFI employs almost 1,000 staff and has grown and developed into one of Scotland's most dynamic contact centres. The company is one of the UK's leading car insurance distributors, as well as a major presence in home insurance and other specialist insurance markets offering products for SME businesses, gadget lovers and pet owners, to name just a few.

Greenlight will take an integrated approach to this account, with SEO and PPC teams working together to develop and execute a combined search strategy, aimed to increase uptake of Kwik Fit Insurance products. As well as integration between SEO and PPC, the agency will work with other online and also offline channels to ensure maximum efficiency. The teams will also align themselves with affiliate and aggregator partners.

Greenlight's SEO team will implement its proprietary ARC methodology that identifies and addresses any ranking problems that could arise on a site. Greenlight's paid search division will apply three of the agency's in-house technologies, Adapt, Quant and SearchSentry™, to the account. Developed only last year, SearchSentry™ is a brand defence platform that works to protect online brands, by monitoring competitor and affiliate activity. This offers brand managers a competitive edge to help them control and defend their brand.
