New network helps open up Indian online market for European advertisers.

Performance based internet advertising company Online Media Group (OMG) has signed a deal with Indian online marketing company, Shoogloo.com, to create India’s second affiliate marketing network.

With more than 60 million* internet users already in India, it is one of the fastest growing online markets in the world. The deal, which will see OMG take a stake in the new venture, is intended to help open up the Indian market for European online advertisers, as well as bringing together Indian advertisers and affiliates.

OMG has been running successful affiliate programmes for some of the UK’s biggest brands since 2002 and, is the most successful UK network in the financial and insurance sectors. The deal grants Shoogloo an initial two year license to use ‘Affiliserve’ – OMG’s performance marketing platform. In addition to the software license, OMG’s UK team will also be providing support and expertise.

Shoogloo Network has already signed up a number of advertisers including India’s largest private airline Jet Airways, MakeMyTrip.com, Cleartrip.com, AbhiNRI.com, Yatra.com, TravelGuru.com and CheapOair.com.
