A fast-expanding Leeds business has moved into new premises with a famous history – Epiphany Solutions has taken over a former rope-making factory on The Calls, Leeds where materials for Sir Edmund Hillary’s famous ascent of Everest were made.
The digital marketing agency has made the switch after outgrowing its previous offices following rapid expansion – in the last 12 months staff increased by 178% and the company was named the fastest-growing search marketing agency in the UK.
Epiphany has refurbished the former C W Carr rope-making premises, which has housed different businesses since Charles Watson Carr’s company closed, and now has 4,500 sq ft of hi-tech office space in which to expand.
The search marketing specialist, which works with clients such as the CBI, MYA Cosmetic Surgery, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Silentnight, hopes to create around 15 new jobs in the next year, while positioning itself as world class innovators in its field.
Shane Quigley, Chief Executive Officer of Epiphany, said: “We started the business four years ago and have expanded quickly to establish a 30-strong team of digital specialists working across national and international clients.
“Having outgrown our previous offices in the city we wanted a large building into which we could double again in size. We’ve now got a fully refurbished, hi-tech office space which allows us to continue our expansion plans.
“The search and digital sectors in which we operate are experiencing growth and we’ve managed to take a comparatively bigger slice than our competitors – our aim is to build a world class operation and we now have a building to match. The link to conquering Everest is purely coincidental, but a great piece of history behind our new home.”
