LONDON, 29 July 2009: GSI Commerce, the full service provider of end-to-end ecommerce and multichannel retail services, today announced it has appointed Iain Beveridge as Vice President, International Operations. Beveridge takes responsibility for GSI Commerce’s international fulfilment and customer services operations in the UK and across Europe. GSI Commerce’s European clients include Casual Male, Reiss, HP Europe, Early Learning Centre and Peacocks.

Beveridge is recognised as an expert in B2C fulfilment and customer services operations having over twenty years experience in the industry. For the last three years, Beveridge has run his own consultancy business, providing multi-channel retail fulfilment strategic and tactical consultancy to blue chip retailers such as Marks & Spencer, asos and John Lewis, advising them on how to scale their operations in a rapid and robust way. Prior to his consultancy work, he co-founded MetaPack, the multi-carrier platform provider, and was Operations Director at iForce the UK e-fulfilment and returns management provider. Beveridge has previously worked for Bhs, Habitat and Mothercare, and Fedex, the leading international parcels carrier. He was also Distribution Director at home shopping retail giant N Brown for 11 years, before moving into e-commerce and multi-channel retail in 1999.
