Blue Barracuda creates ‘pizza and a movie’ partnership and online marketing campaign

Pizza Hut Delivery is partnering with, the online film and TV aggregator, to offer discounted films when customers order a delivery. The collaboration, conceived and created by Pizza Hut’s retained digital agency, Blue Barracuda, will offer Pizza Hut customers the chance to stream films such as ‘Gran Torino’ and Ridley Scott’s ‘Body of Lies’ online, from the comfort of their own home.

Customers will be able to choose from a selection of eight films from a Pizza Hut and co-branded website, starting from £2.12 including the discount. The films, which range from the latest releases to old classics, will change on a weekly basis.

Blue Barracuda has created an online marketing campaign to promote the offer to Pizza Hut Delivery’s audience of 18-30 year old, predominantly male, film enthusiasts and gamers. The campaign will include email marketing to Pizza Hut’s existing database and onsite banner activity using movie-clip themed creative.
