--- Former D&B Head Brings Over 15 years of Experience to Abacus ---

London, 21 October, 2004 --- Abacus – a division of DoubleClick Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK) – a leading data and research provider to the direct marketing industry, today announced the appointment of Keith Jones as European Managing Director.

Jones brings more than 15 years of data analytics experience, gained within the business-to-business sector, to his new post. He has been recruited to support Abacus’ European operations in the UK, Germany and the newly opened France office. Jones will play a key role in launching the business into new markets; developing client acquisition and retention strategies; creating value propositions and product enhancements; and devising sales management and forecasting systems.

Jones comes from D&B where, as Head of European Sales & Marketing Solutions, he led the business focusing on developing knowledge-based data analytical services in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux and Scandinavia.

In the mid 1990’s, Jones founded Risk & Opportunity Intelligence Ltd, an independent data analytics business, which focussed on business growth and portfolio risk analysis in the financial services industry. In 1997, the business was taken over by D&B and became a key part of its sales and marketing function.

“Keith has proved his leadership capabilities in his previous roles and we are excited to have him on board. His knowledge and experience of the data sector will be invaluable as we look to strengthen our offerings and build on our operations,” said Brian Rainey, President, Abacus.

Jones will be based at Abacus UK’s London office and will report into Abacus’ President, Brian Rainey.
