Victor Chandler, “The Gentleman Bookmaker”, has chosen leading digital marketing agency Latitude (http://www.latitudegroup.com/) to run its PPC (http://www.latitudegroup.com/ppc/) and SEO (http://www.latitudegroup.com/seo/) accounts. The gaming company, which now has a turnover of £1bn plus and more than one million customers in over 160 different countries, is looking to further grow its already successful online betting platform through search marketing.

Latitude will be utilising reactive PPC bidding around live sporting events such as World Cup football matches to drive in-game betting. The agency will also be geo-targeting around Nottingham as a result of Victor Chandler’s sponsorship of Nottingham Forest FC.

Ian Lowther, Acquisition Marketing Manager of Victor Chandler, said of the deal: “We are looking to significantly grow our online customer base from an already strong foundation, to do this we need to work with one of the top search providers. Latitude’s experience and ability in both PPC and SEO make them the ideal partner to run a holistic search strategy for us.”

Alex Hoye, CEO of Latitude added: “Victor Chandler is a great brand to add to our growing client portfolio. We are continuing to reaffirm our position as a search supplier to some of the UK’s biggest brands with a number of new technology developments such as a new client portal, off the back of the BT SearchSmart platform, and a trademark monitoring tool.”

This news follows a number of other Latitude wins including the JJB Sports affiliate advertising account and the Tesco Mobile SEO account as well as recently announcing a partnership with BT that produced SME search product BT SearchSmart.
